the rally.

I went to the march for womens lives today. I had a really good time, over a million people were there, literally. I've never seen so many people in one place at one time. Or that many people on the metro. that sucked. but regardless, it was the biggest recorded march in the history of the universe. really.
I'm really by no means a bleeding heart, or a liberal. In fact, I'm a registered republican, but I really feel reproductive rights are very important and at currently stake-and I'll argue the point with anyone. Moving on...

Shelley and I came back with all kinds of pro-choice posters. None offensive, they just say "we demannd emergency contraception over the counter," "Stand up for choice," March for women's lives!" and things like that. We both put them up in our rooms. Shelley was worried about hers because her roommate, we think, is pro-life. They have also been in a sort of tiff lately, not gettign along too well- although they haven't actually been real friends for 6 months or so. Shelley told me she was going to leave a note on lauris computer that said "if the prochoice posters offend you, i can move them."

I suggested the note say instead "if the pro-choice posters offend you, feel free to put up pro-life propaghanda." Then leave a picture of a dead baby and a roll of tape. Wait and see what happens. Haha.
Shelley says this is why i cannot keep a roommate.
